Public Policy

The Hampton Branch announces the following public policy events and statements:

January 9, 2022:

In preparation for Virginia’s 2022 General Assembly session, which begins on Wednesday, January 12, we held a Zoom meeting on January 5 to review our legislative priorities and expectations for the upcoming session with interested members. We have attached detailed notes, including links to resources members can use throughout the session.

Please forward this email to other members of your Branches and encourage them to engage with their elected representatives throughout the session and after. Virginians can find out who their legislator is and how to contact them at: https://whosmy.virginiageneralassembly.gov/

All members are asked to record any and all email, phone and other communications with your Virginia elected representatives by using this link or contacting one or both of us.

We will schedule our next Zoom meeting soon and will advise all members. Watch for additional communications from us throughout the session.

We thank you all for your efforts in advancing equity and economic security for women and their families.
