Meeting need at Crittenden Middle School

Middle school girls need personal hygiene items but often do not have the resources to purchase them.  It’s a topic that is seldom discussed but weighs heavy on those in need.

After being made aware of the need at Crittenden Middle School, the Hampton Branch donated our own version of a feminine hygiene purse, “the Sani-pack”.  It is a large makeup case with a bright saying on the outside, such as “nothing but good vibes”, filled with tampons, sanitary napkins, wet wipes, deodorant, and a toothpaste and a toothbrush. Joan Jenkins, secretary, and Daisy Wilder, public policy chair, delivered the packs to the school.  Dr. Sarita Gregory, program VP and a member of the staff at Crittenden, was there with the school nurse and assistant principal to accept the Sani-pack.
